Fotografierende Lehrerin

Meine Kollegin hatte es schon befürchtet, dass diese Karikatur von vielen unseren Schülerinnen und Schüler aus der 12. Klasse falsch verstanden werden würde. Trotzdem fanden wir, dass sie dem Anspruch der 12. Klasse und unserem Schulaufgaben-Thema „Umwelt“ gerecht wird. Nun ja, die Kollegin sollte Recht behalten – es kam ziemlich viel Bullshit, was die Botschaft der Karikatur anbelangt. Letztlich zeigt das aber wiederum, dass der Karikaturist absolut Recht hat – die Leute wissen einfach nicht, was „recycled“ bedeutet!

Hier die „Lowlights“ („Highlights“ scheint mir heute irgendwie zu positiv… 😉 ):

I think the cartoonist wants to show the people that everything, even toilet paper, can be recycled and reused. […] The sign with „recycled toilet tissue“ on it means that it is very thin paper…

One woman is mentioning that her Eric… wouldn’t use fancy toilet paper that’s been used before. […] With this picture the cartoonist wants to criticize that society is so focused on „going green“ that they establish more and more fancy and useless things to protect the environment.

The cartoonist wants to make fun of the fact that recycling is important to reduce CO2 emissions, There’s such a hype about recycling and that we should save the planet that we maybe have to use recycled toilet paper.

The cartoonist wants to point out that people actually want to protect the environment, but they are also too noble to use – like in this case – used toilet paper.

In my opinion the cartoonist wants to question the new trend of recycling. […] I mean, who wants to use used toilet paper?

Indeed, auch ich bin mir zu fein und möchte kein gebrauchtes Toilettenpapier verwenden!
